This high-end mixed-use complex will serve as the western anchor for the famous Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, Colorado. With its corner location, the project addresses the contextual challenges of a highly visible and vibrant urban location while respecting the historic neighborhood and taking advantage of pedestrian and shopping patterns.
In scale and massing, 900 West Pearl relates to the adjacent buildings and the busy streets it fronts. Stone columns and glass windows give the building a rhythmic presence along the north side and gently break down its length. Materials reflect the traditional western masonry with a contemporary lifestyle aesthetic represented with glass and steel. Retail functions are on the first level; offices and lofts occupy the second floor with terraces and balconies that open to stunning mountain views.
