Terra Krieger LEED AP
As a design leader of the Denver Studio of 4240 Architecture, Terra's thoughtful investigation of site, program and materials, coupled with creative research, has consistently lead to innovative and award-winning design solutions. Her intense design ethic elevates projects of varied programs and scales, including hospitality, mixed-use, commercial office, high-rise design, high-end custom housing, multi-family housing and urban design. A keen attention to the constantly-evolving spheres of material science, building technology and project-delivery grounds Terra's work in the tangible craft of building-making.
While working with Studio Daniel Libeskind in New York, Terra played an integral role in the development of the design guidelines for the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site and in the conceptual design of the Freedom Tower (in collaboration with SOM). While with SDL she also contributed to the winning entry for the invited Milano Fiera competition; the project is scheduled for completion in 2014. Terra has served as an invited design critic and guest lecturer at the University of Colorado and Kansas State University; her involvement in academia continues to fuel her passion for researched-based and process-oriented design solutions.
